Instructions to set up an online account for Arun District Council Business Rates

Before starting, make sure you have the info needed to help ADC match you to your Business Rates Account. You’ll need:

•    your business rates account number (shown on your Business Rates bill)
•    the last three digits of a bank account – the best one would be the one you use to pay your Business Rates bill if you pay using online banking.


First you need to register for an account:


1)    Go to

2)    Click on the box that says “Business Rates Account”

3)    In the section headed “View your Business Rates account”, click the link that says: “If you do not have an account you can register here”

4)    Follow the instructions and enter the details requested to register for an online account.

Once you’ve entered all of these details, you need to verify your account:

1)    You’ll be sent an email to the address you entered, which you need to open and click the link to verify your online Business Rates account.

2)    Go to your email account and open the email titled “Citizen Access Revenues at Arun District Council – Registration.  The sender will show as “

3)    Check any junk mail folders if it doesn’t show up in your inbox within a few minutes.

4)    Click the link to verify your account.

Now you can log in to ADC’s online Business Rates service and check and update your contact details:

1)    Go online to

2)    Click on the box that says “Business Rates Account”

3)    Click on the link that says “Sign in or Register for an account”

4)    Enter the user name and password you set up

You can check and update your contact details by using the “edit” buttons,  and saving any changes using “done” and “finished” buttons at the bottom of the screen
