Business Crime Reduction Partnership (BCRP)

Crime, the fear of crime and anti-social behaviour has a significant negative impact on the profitability of your business. We can help you to reduce shoplifting, alcohol related disorder, anti-social behaviour, street drinking and theft from your premises and your customers.

The BR BID’s Business Crime Reduction Partnership (BCRP) is a formal structure that includes a range of business crime reduction initiatives, including the DISC App for recording and reporting incidents, the Shop Radio scheme and the Exclusion scheme.  This structure ensures that the BID’s BCRP is well organised, operates within clear guidelines, and does not breach data protection laws in the way we collect, store and share sensitive information about individuals.

BCRP members range from large multiple retailers to small independent traders and now we’re accredited, we can offer businesses in the night time economy a cost-effective alternative to other schemes.

How to join the BCRP?

By signing up as a member of the BID’s Business Crime Reduction Partnership, you will be given access to the DISC system for recording and reporting crime and anti-social behavior, membership of the Exclusion Scheme, which excludes repeat offenders from entering members’ business premises for a period of three months, and a one month free trial of the shop radio scheme.

How much does it cost to join the BCRP?

Membership of the BCRP is free to all levy paying businesses, and only £45 + VAT per annum to non levy payers.
